Easter is almost here! We can’t help but love an occasion that makes chocolate an acceptable choice for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Take the opportunity to indulge and have a fabulously delicious Easter. Stay safe and enjoy your time with family and friends.

THE EASTER BUNNY VISITS FANCY PANTRY
Fancy Pantry is doing its bit to help with the distribution of Easter treats – we couldn’t leave it all up to the Easter Bunny!
We have some delicious and cute Fremantle Chocolate Company Easter treats. Be fun and give a freckle egg, indulge in a rocky road egg, watch the kids enjoy a jelly bean filled egg or buy a Mother Bunny for Mum. This local producer has a real following, making all of their chocolates here in Western Australia.
We also have a limited supply of Valrhona and Mazet Easter chocolates. Stock consists of speckled eggs, bird eggs, salted caramel eggs and pear ganache chocolates. Delight in the superior quality of this product produced by those who are serious about chocolate.
Nestar's cute bunny boxed chocolates will also be a crowd pleaser. Try the choc coated cranberries or forrest fruits or for something different sample the lemon myrtle or rosella and choc coated macadamias.
In addition, we’ve topped up supplies of all of the usual favourites- chocolate snakes, chocolate oranges, truffles, chocolate coffee beans, panforte, rocky road and nougat.
Enjoy these quality Easter chocolates with friends and family.

MAPLE FLAKES
We’re now stocking Naturata Organic Maple Flakes, made from 100% pure dried maple syrup. It comes in a mill with a high quality grinder so the flakes can be ground very fine or coarsely. These flakes are a great sugar substitute, ideal for decorating cakes and pastries, for use in marinades and so much more. Great flavour, low GI and no artificial flavouring.

These tasty treats are not only delicious but great for those with food allergies too. Try the cranberry and coconut kisses, shortbread crumble, chocoholic chomp or ginger and apple tingle. Le Coq du Bonheur, the Portuguese Rooster synonymous with Faith, Justice & Good Luck is a lovely gift idea. These hand painted roosters will brighten up any home and keep the legend of the rooster alive! Made and hand painted in Portugal they come in a blue and white design or a floral design. A great Easter gift if you’re looking for something other than chocolate.

Did you know that we now stock a wide range of recipe books? It’s all a bit dangerous for someone who has a bit of an obsession with recipe books, hence there are now a few more on the bookshelf at home. Matthew Evans (the gourmet farmer) The Real Food Companion is one of my current favourites. And during this weather the range of BBQ books has been inspirational.

26th March — Pumpkin and Peach Cakes
A unique combination for a deliciously moist cake. Great for afternoon tea or jazz it up for the dinner party. It’s hard to say no to seconds!
2nd April — Carrot Fritters
Moroccan inspired these carrot fritters are a great way to disguise the vegies for dinner with the kids or can be made as a smaller finger food to serve at the next gathering for drinks. Serve with Cahoots Moroccan Relish and Natural Yoghurt. Sensational!
9th April — Chocolate, Cocoa Nib and Cherry Biscotti
Continuing on with the chocolate theme, these biscotti are a lovely after dinner treat or a gorgeous homemade gift. These biscotti contain some special ingredients for a superior sweet treat without quite as much guilt!
16th April — Hot Cross Buns
Give these great Hot Cross buns a go. Choose the fruit you like, add chocolate or leave it up to the spices. Fresh from the oven they’re hard to resist.
23rd April — Belgian Chocolate Mousse
So divine, so easy, no one will ever know it came from a packet. It’s gluten and egg free too.
30th April– Curry in a Hurry
We stock several brands of curry pastes & sauces that incorporate all natural ingredients to produce a sensational curry. These sauces are gluten free too. If you don’t have time to make your curry from scratch these are the perfect substitute – due to the superior quality of these products you wouldn’t even know it was from a jar!

Apple, banana, cumquats, custard apple, grape, kiwi fruit, lemon, lime, mandarin, melons, nashi, nuts – almond, chestnut, hazelnut, pistachio, walnut, pears, persimmon, quince, and rhubarb.
